Some further questions keep popping up about bloggers being sponsored to attend CyberMummy. (You can read our longer post about being sponsored here.) To help everyone we’re answering them here:
Q. Can I throw a party with my sponsor?
A. If you’re thinking about hosting a private party with your sponsor, you must abide by these guidelines:
* Your party must be held at a separate venue. All the meeting space at the event will be used for official CyberMummy conference events only.
* Your party must take place outside of scheduled CyberMummy hours. CyberMummy runs from 8:30 to 20:00.
* You must otherwise adhere to the sponsored blogger guidelines, including those about handing out brochures or promotional material related to your sponsor at the conferenceQ. Do I need to be sponsored to attend?
A. Absolutely not! There’s a lot of talk from bloggers about finding a sponsor, but you don’t need one to attend. While some folks will be sponsored, the majority will not. Just buy a ticket and show up on the day!
