I love lego duplo because you can see it coming! How many times in my life have I trodden on a lego brick in bare feet and have had to hop around all day long?! (I also love making duplo stuff!)
What excites me about Cybermummy11 is the coming together of so much energy from bloggers who are doing amazing things for themselves. I know how much hard work goes into blogs and would love to meet other bloggers who work at it as hard as I do.
We’ve had a bag of Duplo bricks since my son was 1.He’s 9 tomorrow and they have seen him and his two younger sisters through hours of play together from rocket ships, dragons and tumbling towers.
Ooh – another bite at the Cybermummy apple! I have accommodation, I have transport, I just need the ticket
My boy has a Duplo Lego Police Station and even though he has set his sights on Clone Wars Lego sets, he still returns to his Duplo policeman and robber to enact various scenes of wrong-doing and law enforcement. The best thing about it is the flashing siren on top of the police car – it was a hit from the very start.
As for Cybermummy – what can I say? I have found the most wonderful women (and men) through blogging and the chance to get to meet them in real life in one fell swoop is making my heart race a little faster. I will be delighted if I’m one of the lucky ones.
Why I love Lego duplo? That’s easy; I love the way those first blocks open up the possibilities of creating, building and exploring three dimensions. Every child with duplo is an engineer. I remember playing with duple; I remember the thrill of graduating to Lego and it seems like barely a few bricks later that I graduated as a civil engineer. All thanks to duplo? Maybe!
So what excites me about cybernummy11. It’s very similar, it’s the opportunity to build, explore and learn. Build connections and friendships. Learn skills and knowledge. Explore networks and opportunities for my blog.
I wasn’t able to attend CM11 until a family commitment was changed, but of course then it was too late, all tickets were sold. So now I ask nicely, although I’ll snatch if necessary. Please Lego Duplo, do for my blogging what you did for my engineering career.
Emma
Why do I love Duplo? When I was pregnant with my first my mum careful brought down some boxes from the loft. What was in them? The Duplo that I and my brother used to play with as children. Still bright and fabulous as ever! Needless to say now with two boys the pile has grown considerably and why not? They are fabulous for little fingers, create endless possibility’s (in one day we’ve had a zoo, conquered a jungle and run a farm) they’re bright and just shout out play with me!
As to Cybermummy….what excites me most? A huge convention of the diverse and amazing bloggers who I have followed for years or just discovered! Or the fact that I could pick up so many tips from such amazing people I would meet in normal circumstances and the fact it just looks LOADS OF FUN!!!
We are only just experiencing the world of Duplo, my little guy is 15 months old and LOVES it!! its fun to see him stick things together, he even uses it as a phone!
I am REALLY excited about Cybermummy as i missed last year, theres lots to learn and I can’t wait to meet all the fabulous other bloggers!
I already have my ticket but have some blogging friends i’d really like to help out by getting them a ticket
…because I would like to get to love Lego Duplo. My children are too young for lego, believe me we have tried so we would like to discover a good quality alternative. Here’s hoping to discover you…
Who does not love Lego ? Duplo just makes it all that better
. Love it because it teaches kids in so many ways – my kids all learnt colours and couting with Duplo along with the usual bulding and knowcking down towers lol. I would love to go to cybermummy and just meet all the lovely peoples whose blogs i read
I
I love Lego Duplo because it’s an iconic toy that i had as a child and now my daughter loves too.
I don’t love it however for the fact that emptying a bucket of Duplo onto a wooden floor makes the loudest noise known to man!
I’m already coming to Cybermummy (yay) and would love to win for my friend @mummiafelice so she can come too. :0)
I would love to win so that I can give my ticket to Tracy aka
@Mummiafelice and her great blog White Lily Green as she really deserves to go.
I and my kids love Duplo as its great for little hands to build with.
I love Lego Duplo as you can make anything you want, it opens up imagination and teaches coordination.
Our house loves Duplo and Lego.
I love Lego Duplo because it is fantastic for developing fine motor skills and hand to eye co-ordination much earlier than most other toys seem to.
I’d love to attend cybermummy as I’ve made some amazing friends on Twitter and it would be fantastitc to meet them in person on a stage where there would be no awkward silences, there’d always be something to talk about.
Lego Duplo is ace – bright and perfect for little hands – even my 6 month old can pick it up and stuff it in her mouth but i don’t have to worry about her choking on it!
CM11 is a fantastic event for the blogging community and a ticket would be amazing!!
I love Lego duplo because it’s keep me sane! My son has autism and has an interest in buses (big time) So what does he do… He builds buses for hours. That gives me a little mum time but best of all, It gives me son a reason to smile (it really is the simple things in life that can make a child so happy, for my son a Lego duplo is more then a Lego brick but double decker bus:)
I came second in a competition that I was on twitter ran by @tattieweasle on her blog… However the lady that won didn’t need the expenses she was giving away So tattie went all out in her fairy godmother role and offered to buy me one!! Yes how amazing. However we haven’t been able to find one and time is running out:( So… here’s my reasons for wanting to go! So I can be tatties eyes because sadly she will miss it as something came up (hence her competition) I will be able to attend an event I just can’t afford… I will be able to socialise with others I’ve come to know and have a child free day. Daddy will suffer with three kids but who cares lol.
Fingers crossed Claire louise
I am entering this to give the ticket to a fellow blogger, as I have a ticket already. That blogger is the amazing @Mummiafelice (White Lily Green) If this is not allowed I apologise and feel free to remove my post.
I love Duplo. it’s simply amazing and tough as houses.
I have 2 enormous boxes of Duplo at the mother in laws house, one mine, and the other box is the mother in laws.
The boxes have bought smiles to many children while in the MIL’s care (she was a child minder.) The bricks are still going strong for my two daughters. Duplo = Amazing
My daughter has a Duplo polar bear zoo that she loves playing with. It’s easier to make up stories than Lego which needs a lot more coordination and imagination to begin with.
I’d love to win this prize, not for me but for another lovely mummy blogger who has been desperate for a ticket and who really deserves to go. Fingers crossed !
I love Lego Duplo because it’s been with my family for so many years now. It never dates and gives hours of fun, generation after generation. So many ways to play, only limited by imagination…and we all know how much of that our kids have!
The thing that excites me the most about Cybermummy is connecting with all the amazing Bloggers that I have tweeted, emailed or Blogged with over the past year. I find them an inspiration and I just know that Cybermummy will allow that inspiration to grow.
What excites me most about Duplo is the fact that the possibilities of creation are never ending, you give a child of box of duplo and know they (and you) will go on a series of adventures which you will never forget! I’d be hugely excited to meet everyone I tweet with at cybermummy! @goriami
We love Lego Duplo at our house and not just at our house we also have a box at both sets of Grandparents. In my opinion Duplo is the best pre-schooler toy as it is unisex and encourages your kids to use their imagination. The amount of times tigger and pooh have attended tea parties at the local duplo fire station at our house is no-one’s business!
As for Cybermummy, I can’t wait to meet all the people I chat to everyday and also to learn some new skills to develop my blog which I have come to love dearly.
Thanks Duplo for the competition.

I love lego duplo because it keeps my youngest quiet for yonks! He loves it! I can’t wait to go to Cybermummy because it will be so nice to put faces to usernames – and because I get to go away for a weekend. Exciting stuff, lol!
I love Duplo cos it has gorgeous bright colours, and I’m looking forward to Cybermummy as my sis is beggaring off
Lego Duplex is great for kids – using imagination to build all sorts of things, and Cybermummy is a chance to see the ‘grown ups’ who have done / are trying to do the same.
I love lego duplo because it is a simple concept but has great enduring possibilities.
Cyber Mummy is a fantastic chance to get people together for an exchange of views, news and fun
Why wouldn’t you love Duplo, its brightly coloured big bricks of imagination!
I would love to enter this on behalf of @mummiafelice from the white lily green blog. I think this would be an amazing oppotunity for her to not only meet all of the other cybemummies but to develop here blog even further. She really deserves it, fingers crossed.
I love Lego Duplo because the blocks with little eyes stuck on make the cutest crazy creatures.
I’m excited about Cybermummy because I’ll get to meet some amazing, inspirational women and learn how to maximise my chances of making a living out of blogging.
I love Lego Duplo because it’s for the whole family, even the adults can join in with their little ones. I am entering this competition for @mummiafelice because she really wants to go and meet some fellow mummy blogger friends. I would love to win a ticket for her, she is such a lovely mummy and has a super blog.
I love Lego Duplo because it is big and chunky for little fingers and my Big fingers too (never grew out of Lego i’m afraid). It also comes in lots of bright and pleasing colours and characters for little ones and Big ones to be creative together
Lego Forever x
and I would love th chance to attend Cybermummy 2011 as I am new to Blogging after taking Littlemummy (Erica Douglas) Mummy Blogger course and would really love to learn, learn, learn from the experts
I already have a ticket, so I’m entering to try to win one for someone else who I know really really wants to go and would get so much from being there – after all Cybermummy11 is THE event of the blogging social calendar!
My son was raised on Lego Duplo before switching to Star Wars/Harry Potter Lego. It’s fantastic for creativity and imagination. It’s also brilliantly priced and totally durable.
I love lego and duplo because it reminds me of being a kid. Now I’m older I’ll be able play with it with the excuse that I’m entertaining my little boy. I also love the lego shaped storage boxes!
I want to attend CyberMummy as I want to learn how to increase my online presence and increase my business potential so that I can work from home full time rather than having to go out to work.
{I have a ticket so don’t enter me but I do love Duplo so very much and just wanted to say so}
I love Lego Duplo because it allows children to express their creativity and doesn’t put any limits on what they can do!
I’d love a ticket to Cybermummy because I want to put faces to all the names that I’ve got to know online, and I want to learn how to make my business and my blog better from the experts – mummy bloggers!
I love Lego Dupli because it is timeless it hasn’t changed since I used to play with it and it is still as popular as ever
my six year old son loves lego duplo and i have to agree its brill nice one xxxx
@jamesdpaton
I love Lego Duplo because it works in this recipe:
3 x boys,
1 x rainy day,
1 very large box Lego Duplo
Put the rain to one side, mix the boys and Lego Duplo and leave to marinade happily for hours.
I want to go to Cybermummy to meet all the amazing women who have supported me since I started my cyberlife.
My eldest son is just 3 and we are starting to get excited about Duplo. It’s colourful, chunky and easy for him to manipulate. What’s also great about it is that the male members of my extended family i.e my brother are getting excited about Duplo. They are able to relive a significant toy from their childhood while bonding with Finlay at the same time. What could be better?
I am an inexperienced blogger so Cybermummy would give me the opportunity to learn, network and be inspired by the delegates and speakers. Plus it would be awesome to put names to faces of all the fab people I’ve already conversed with over Twitter!
Hi. We are massive fans of duplo and have used it to build, count, learn colours & animals and train motor skills.
I have to admit, I can’t come to CyberMummy being in Germany, but if I won a ticket, would love to auction it off for the #passiton cause. I hope this would be ok.
Thanks for hosting this!
MJM.
My eldest son is 13 and still loves lego, in fact I’m sure we own the entire range of models!!! However this all started from his 1st toddler box of Duplo. He has mild Aspergers and so loves the engineering/ science behind the building. His own models are fantastic. I owe loads to his original Duplo set!!
As for Cybermummy….I have missed out on 3 tickets recently and am desperate to go and I’m definitely not above begging!!! Would love to go and meet all the lovely bloggers I chat to online and hopefully learn a thing or two!!
Just remember Mum In Meltdown…….the name says it all. Pleeeeeaaaaaase
I love duplo because a) it isn’t small lego that hurts your feet and b) because we can spend hours building and rebuilding things, using imagination and having fun as a family.
I REALLY want/need to to go to cybermummy to meet all the awesome bloggers I know online in actual real life.
I love duplo as its creative and gets the brain going whilst being fun at the same time.
I would love to go to Cybermummy as there’s still so much for me to learn. So many fantastic people for me to meet and so many friends for my little man Ryan to play with.I missed out on getting a sponsor but would love to go,i have 1st class train tickets ready incase i get the fab chance to go.Please consider me as it would be adream to see the actions and fun thats going to be had by all that were lucky enough to get sponsors.xxx
We love Lego Duplo at our house for many reasons. Five year old has enjoyed playing with it since he was old enough to hold it in his hands. Brilliantly, all the Duplo both sets of Grandparents had saved in their lofts integrated perfectly with his set, expanding his collection and keeping him occupied for many, many peaceful hours.
For me, the most exciting thing about going to CyberMummy is putting faces (well not just faces, bodies too) with all the names. While I’ve just returned from a blogging break, there are still many bloggers who I’d love to see in person and say ‘Thank you!’ to for kind words and helpful messages in the past!
Thank you Lego Duplo for this chance!
I love lego duplo because it’s so easy to keep tidy, fun for the kids, and now my daughter (15 months) loves it as much as my son did (5yrs) – so it spreads across the gender gap with no problem. It brings the two of them together as he can help her to play, and gives me a much needed 15 minute tea break when the husband is away and I have no other help with the kids.
I would love, love, love to go to cybermummy to meet all the mums and learn more about how to improve my blog. Plus, it’s a chance to get out and the kids get to run around london with hubby while I’m there, so it’s an adventure for all of us! Pleasseeeeeeee!
We love duplo, buddy will be two next week and until recently the favourite has been getting the boxes and tipping them all over the floor. We turned a corner this week when we have been using it to build and play with, the police station has remained intact all weekend. Buddy played for hours with it yesterday – A definite for the birthday list this year again. Thanks Lego
My two boys absolutely love duplo – it keeps them entertained for hours! Happy boys = happy mummy!
I am completely desperate to go to cybermummy and learn from all the amazing, talented and inspiring women (speakers and guests). Please please please let me go
Scene: Living room floor, early Saturday morning …
3yo: (shouting upstairs) Mummy, Mummmmyyyyyyy … are you getting up now?
Me: (muffled response from under the duvet) Soon darling. Play with daddy sweetheart …
3yo: But Daddy keeps taking my lego bits to build his spaceship … Mummy, come and play with me… Mummy, Mummy …. (continues until I end up downstairs)
We love lego duplo as it keeps Daddy entertained for hours
It doesn’t however give me a lie-in!
