Natalie Lue has been blogging since 2004 when she started sharing her thoughts about dating and surviving in London on her personal blog, while working in sales for a large technology publisher. With over 10 years experience of working in media, primarily with ad agencies and most of the biggest technology brands in the world, she started
Bambino Goodies as her ‘little experiment’ a few weeks before her daughter was born in May 2007. A design fanatic with a love of the web and shopping, she started it as her place to document her cool finds for discerning parents and their offspring after panicking that the baby world was too twee for her tastes.
In 2005, she had also started Baggage Reclaim, a dating and relationship blog that cuts through the fluff, but which also gave her the opportunity to use her own experiences and those of others to empower people and their relationships. While on maternity leave, in early 2008, she made the leap to blogging full time and has since grown her personal monthly readership to over 200K unique users across her blogs and makes all of her living from blogging.
Natalie is passionate about technology, social media and gathering audiences around niche topics, and also has a deep understanding of how brands and agencies want to work with the media, although these days she works primarily with small independent designers, retailers, and agencies. She’s also published ebooks, does consultancy work, has appeared in the press, and regularly guests on Sky News and speaks occasionally on BBC Radio. Based in Caterham, Surrey, she lives with her partner and two daughters.
