Speakers at CyberMummy: Sally Whittle

May 10, 2010 admin Blog,speakers 0 Comment

Even if you don’t know Sally Whittle by name, you have likely heard of some of the projects she’s involved in: an index that ranks blogs and a new awards scheme. Whittle will be part of our panel on Influence and Stats, something she knows a bit about.

Whittle is a freelance journalist, media trainer and blogger who has been writing about technology and social media for 12 years. In 2009 she launched her own parenting blog, Who’s the Mummy, which hosts the monthly Tots100 index of UK parent blogs, followed by the Great Toy Guide, a collaborative review site written by parent bloggers.

Whittle recently launched The MADs, the UK’s first national award scheme for parent bloggers. When not running the MADs or the Tots100, Sally writes for various UK newspapers and corporate clients, providing copywriting, editing and blogging services. In 2011, Sally would quite like to take a day off.

Catch Sally at the 12 o’clock panel in the main room!
